Athanasios Anastasopulos

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Athanasios (Tom) Anastasopulos, from a heart attack on Friday, July 4th at the age of 64. He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend Linda. He was a proud and loving father to his two son's Demetri and Alexander, daughter in-law Kate, and Thanos (man's best friend). He was preceded in death by his father, Demeter Anastasopulos and his mother Georgia Anastasopulos.

Tom was a deeply loving husband and father with strong family values who was a kind and caring man at his core. He was a creative and talented carpenter and handyman who loved to problem solve. He enjoyed life through passionate, opinionated conversations with loved ones and close friends about a myriad of topics (the sky was the limit). He had a diverse sense of humour and loved a good gut laugh. In addition, he loved discussing politics, partaking in motorsports, weight lifting, practicing martial arts, reading, gaming, and spending time with his family at the cottage. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones.

A visitation for Athanasios will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5. A graveside service will occur Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1.
