Brittnee Edith Anne Madden, 36, passed away peacefully in her Toronto home on November 3rd, 2025. Loved by so many, she will be remembered for her light, smile and strength. Survived by her mother, Sheila (John) and her brother, Ryan (Briar). Predeceased by her father, Mike and grandparents Chuck, Anne and Edith. Her nephews Austin and Tyson will always remember their “Aunt Birdie”. Devoted dog mom to Willow. Remembered, in love, by her many friends and extended family.
Born in Smiths Falls, On and raised in Toronto, On Brittnee attended Cardinal Newman Catholic school. Brittnee loved animals, music, cooking, art and her family and friends dearly. She was a force of love and light and took her laughter, warmth and strong spirit with her wherever she went. Brittnee loved to celebrate life’s big moments and support the ones she loved.
A celebration of life will be held for Brittnee on Wednesday, November 12th with visitation beginning at 11am at Jerrett Funeral Home in Scarborough, ON. Family and friends are welcome to gather afterwards for a reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brittnee’s honour can be made to the Toronto Humane Society.
