Dear Bruce...you were a fabulous, faithful volunteer through MCC Toronto's AIDSCare program, which later morphed into Community Care Home Hospice.
I was very fortunate to see you often during those times, as we connected about the time spent with those needing your abilities to make their lives a lot brighter. Your kind and gentle, yet fun way of being made a gracious fun person to be around.
You were a great example of volunteering and being a good example as a human being.
Several people have already commented on how, like me, they still remember your indomitable spirit.
I will NEVER forget you (unless my memory totally fails!)
Love and respect - always, Sandra

Gone too soon, a kinder soul I've never met. Bruce was one of the first who extended the hand of friendship when I started at GFA as a grade 7, 12 year old - a gesture I'll never forget. Rest in peace, my friend.

My thoughts are with all who knew and loved Bruce.

Bruce and I grew up in the same neighbourhood and were in the same grade through school. I have many fond memories of those years. Bruce was a kind, good soul and he never had a bad thing to say. He is part of my life and I always have the memories.
Good bye old friend. God Bless.
