Carmela Graziosi

Born August 23, 1937, in the picturesque town of Gesualdo, Avellino, in the Campania region of Italy, Carmela brought with her the warmth, strength, and spirit of her homeland when she came to Canada to build a life full of love, resilience, and family.

Carmela is now reunited with her beloved husband, Domenico Michele (deceased February 16, 1992), whose memory she carried in her heart every day. She will be deeply missed by her devoted children Angelo (Patricia), Maria, Antonio Vincenzo, Michelina (Angelo) and Giuseppina (Brian) whose lives she enriched with unconditional love and wisdom.

A cherished Nonna of Adam (Catia), Alexandra (Daniel), Victoria (Joey), Vanessa, Matthew and Michael and proud Bisnonna Fabian, Dario, Gabriel, Noelle, Chloe. Carmela’s legacy will live on through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.

Known for her caring nature, kind heart, and unshakable spunk, Carmela was a true matriarch who faced life’s challenges with quiet strength and never a complaint. Her kitchen was always open, her arms always welcoming, and her smile always ready to comfort. She was a woman who gave generously, loved fiercely, and lived gracefully.

Visitation for Carmela will be held Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Monday, April 28, 2025 between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 1141 St Clair Ave West. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jerrett Funeral Home Chapel, with an entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery 1450 St Clair Ave W.

Carmela’s life was a beautiful example of perseverance, grace, and love—a life that touched many and will never be forgotten.

The family asks that you share a story, a meal, or a moment of kindness in her honor. That is what she would have wanted most. If desired, donations in memory of Carmela can be made to Operation Smile or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
