Jeannie, I would love seeing you visit our home, I often wondered where you moved to and then I heard Toronto, then I saw you on fb, well that did it for me, I was so happy seeing you always, and having you reply to my fb post, just the other day I looked for you, but only to find you no more, I sure wished I took a day to visit with you in Toronto, and only 45 mins., away, I will miss your beauty, smile, and the fun loving pics of you thank you for being a part of my family during my younger days, thank you for your kindness towards me and my family I called you auntie out of respect, may you r.i.p., Carmella, may your children be comforted, may God keep them in perfect peace, I love you always, Until, love Teena xoox

Carmella was one of kind, genuine and a special lady. I will remember the time she and Betty Lou visited Atlanta, along with my sister Pamela and my daughters, we all had such a wonderful time together. A time full of laughter and sisterhood.

I stayed with cousin Carmella & Uncle Bob the summer of 1967.  This is the year I went to DAL and I had to be in Halifax in June to start football workouts. The kindness that I was shown durning these two months will never be forgotten.

Your mom was always smiling! Every time I saw her, she was happy and EVERYBODY loves her. And dress!!! She had the most beautiful clothes and she always looked so glamorous! I’m still shocked by her passing, I miss her already, and this world will never be the same without her.

I want to extend my deepest heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your love one. There are really no words to say to make you feel better at this time but know I am here for you if you ever need me in any way. 

How can I even put into words how I felt about  the loss of my dear friend/Sister. Well I really can’t but I do know a piece of my heart has gone with her and the pain is some days unbearable. But I get up and go on when I hear her whisper in my ear constantly to take care of myself. One day, one hour, one minute of each day will be a struggle but with the faith of God and Carmella by my side I will get through this.

Carm and I supported each other in every sense of the word. We laughed, cried, and loved but the happiness and love we shared always prevailed in the end. A strong, deep, affection, for one another unconditional and unexplained is what our Friendship was. 

Carm was the most loving , giving person anyone could know and I was blessed to have her as my Sister/friend. 

I have cried for days and ask myself why she left this world so soon but God needed her and knowing what’s  going on in this crazy world with covid19 she would be the perfect Angel to help him figure it all out. I will just thank God for all the beautiful years I had her with me here on earth. 

I also know that our love ones that go before us lead the way to wait forever with a warm embrace. They reach into our thoughts from day to day with memories that time cannot erase. 
Although I cannot take my friend by the hand or share our companionship and talk I will just go on in life as planned, and sense her presence in my daily walk. I know one day we shall
reunite in never ending  joy and love.

Carmella  I can never forget those times Uncle Bob would come visit us down home and bring these two little girls.  One had lots of freckles, the other one didn't have freckles but she was also very pretty.   Years later when I met in Toronto  at a dance , little did I know you were one of those little girls who became a grown beauty with this big smile and a bigger hug for  me.
I'm sorry I didn't get enough time with you.   So until we meet again my beautiful cousin on behalf of me, Jason and Jordan   Fly  High.!

I sat here for a long time wondering what words I could find to write   - Carmella, you were always there for our family, when we lost both our mother and our father , we shared the same grandparents, we slept in the same bed when we were small in Springhill at our Nannie's house, we lived in the same house on Barrington Street in Halifax - you, Brenda, Claire and I, we did a lot of things together when we were children, some good and some not so good.  We grew up and we drifted away which happens a lot in life.     You will be missed and  never forgotten.   Kisses and hugs

Well I am in total shock hearing of Carmella's passing, we were schoolmates and hanging around buddies in Nova Scotia.  I am still on awe, I will miss her and I commenting on our Facebook comments. When we think of you Aunt Carm, all we ever did was smile! Your generosity, laughter, compassion, and your “tell it how it is” attitude were only some of the qualities of your spirit that we will cherish forever. Having you not only attend our wedding but speak was an honour for us. We know that you’re shining down on us from above reunited with all of those we miss and cherish. We love you and miss you to no end. Although we are crying now at the memories we know one day our smile will return because you’re in paradise in your dancing shoes!

Carmella , this is all Surreal, I can’t even wrap my head around this , although we haven’t seen much of one another, we made a lot of fun memories.
I remember back so many years ago, I had just got out of a long relationship, we recounted  at a picnic and from there you showed me how to have Fun again, introduced me to so many people, so many trips to B-Lo, she as as So well known,  and of course we had our little crew. 
In closing , I’m remembering  one of her Famous sayings,  ‘Don’t hate me Because I’m Beautiful... and that She was every bit off.

Carmella, my sweet cousin,  we were separated in our younger years, but I was overly thrilled when we found each other again in Halifax so many years later. We became separated again,  but one day while walking on Dundas Street in Toronto I ran into you coming out of the RCMP office where you worked. It was heartwarming to see you again. We didn’t hang out much, but  I did see you through your son Tyson when he  was friends with my kids in his Degrassie days. We connected on Facebook and I loved playing the beautiful music you posted. The shock of your passing took my breath away. I will miss your posts and I will miss you dearly.  Soar with the Angels, my beautiful cousin and hug all our family members in Heaven.  Until we meet again. 😇♥️😇

Aunt Carm, you were always so loving and warm and that will truly be missed. As a kid, I was in awe of your spunk and confidence and that admiration only grew as I got to know such an incredible and strong woman. Growing up, I knew Aunt Carm as my Papa’s (Clifford “Bobo” White) larger than life sister. She was fun, eccentric with her animal prints, and loving. Whenever she came to Montreal to see us or we went to Toronto to see her, we had fun and felt so loved.  In recent years, she has been a tremendous source of comfort, support, and love to my mom (Angela White) and our family. Hearing her voice, her stories, her quick one-liners, laugh, getting a big hug, and just being around her always reminded me of being with Papa. I am so grateful that I got to share a part of my life with her and send my deepest condolences to her Renée, Tyson, Robbie, her grandchildren, her siblings, and all those who love and miss her.

Aunty Carm I love you! As little girl your warm smile and hugs always made me feel loved, you constantly told me how much I both looked like my mother, Jocey and acted like her in one way or another. There are not enough words to describe her affectioous  personality.  She was beautiful inside  and out. She loved  us  and we loved her.  I cannot believe she is not here . My heart is s broken.  I take comfort in knowing that  when  Aunt Carm walked through Heaven ' s Gates  she received her Crown. We love you Aunt Carm

I will continue to remember all the stories you told me growing up with my parents, Carmella. Whenever we talked you always inquired on them. You were the first to introduce me to the older church family here in Toronto and asked me to sing for Black History Month. You constantly reminded me of where my gift came from...GOD and no matter the negativity to " keep a smile". ...as you certainly did! You were, beautiful,  kind, empathetic, funny and all with CLASS! Definitely a DIVA in my eyes. You will be missed dearly, my so many. Rest now in the arms of God. Your work is done, my friend.❤😇🙏🏽😘

I will always remember carmela from Terquies b day party her laughter her amazing spirit, she was such a special lady . Met her a few times after that to .. I'll never forget u , rest in paradise ❤❤❤ again my condolences to Tyson, Terique, Roberta and Robbie.. so sorry for ur loss

I am honored and blessed to have known Carmella. She was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss her smile, our morning talk and laughs. She was just beautiful inside out.
