I worked for many years with Carmen at Women College Hospital.
She was a very kind loving person who I considered a dear friend.
She was very good to me -&my daughter.
I will miss her dearly

Carmen was very good friends with my wife Lucy, who met when they both worked at Women's College Hospital. Carmen was a genuinely nice person; her generosity with food comes to mind.  My condolences to her family.  Carmen you will be missed.

Carmen was a mother to so many of us who were not her birth children.  She showed her love through feeding so many with the food she would prepare and calling us all darling.   She had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humour.   I love you and will miss you my mom, but I'm comforted that you are at rest.

Carmen was my mother's dearest friend. I have fond memories of us dressing up and visiting Carmen at her apartment on Sundays and she always made us feel so welcome. Lord, what a spread of food she put on. God bless you Carmen, you will be missed. Our condolences to your family. 

My mother and Carmen have been life long friends or at least for my life time and I’m 65 
I remember not being more than 9 years old and walking to miss Carmen’s home in London to pick up my mothers crochet that Carmen painstakingly ironed
She always greeted with a scowl and a smile in that order and as a kid I knew she was good people
