

Culleton, Catherine Ann, 90, of Toronto, Ontario and formerly of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, died October 25th, 2024 at Main Street Terrace Long Term Care Home. Born in Antigonish and daughter of the late William and Julia (Cormier) Smith.
Cathy (Kitty) was very active in politics and worked with many politicians and the community to better the Parkdale area. She was well read and kept up with current affairs. She also had a great sense of humor and loved to play practical jokes.
She is survived by son James and daughter Debbie (Peter) Uskov of Toronto. She is predeceased by daughter Ann Marie and son John Alan of Toronto.
She is also survived by her beloved sisters Mary Boyle, Antigonish, Rita Kelly Antigonish, Isabel Teasdale Antigonish, and brothers Donald (Marina), Antigonish, Bill (Linda), Antigonish, Terry (Bonnie), Belleville as well many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by brothers John Angus, Sandy and Collie, and brothers-in-law Jack Boyle, Danny Kelly and Lowell Teasdale.
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Lisa Uskov (Rich), Jennifer Uskov (Joseph Mullin), Michael Uskov, Robbin Culleton (Phil), Danielle Oswell (Shawn), and John Culleton (Amanda).
She will be greatly missed by her great grandchildren Peter, Elizabeth, Colton, Abby, Kyle, Chase and Charlotte.
A memorial will be held on Saturday November 9th, from 1-4 pm at Giffen-Mack funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario would be appreciated.
She will be cremated and buried with Ann at Prospect Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the Main Street Terrace staff who took great care of Cathy and appreciated her sense of humor.
