GOD SAW CATHERINE GETTING TIRED

God saw Catherine was getting tired

When a cure was not to be.

So He wrapped His arms around her

And whispered “Come to Me”

In tears we saw Catherine sinking,

We watched her fade away.

Our hearts were truly broken,

She fought so hard to stay.

But when we saw her sleeping,

Peacefully and free from pain,

We could not wish her back,

To suffer that again.

So keep your arms around Catherine, Lord,

And give her special care,

Make up for all she suffered,

That seemed to us unfair.

So many times we’ve needed her.

So many times we’ve cried.

If love could have saved her,

Catherine never would have died.
