He passed away peacefully at the age of 88, surrounded by love.
Cel will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Maria, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage. He was a devoted and loving father to Tony (Julie Davis) and Jeff (Kerri Hoffman), and a cherished Papa to Gage, Kiana, Cole and Alia, who brought him immense pride and joy.
Celestino had a deep love for the outdoors and found great happiness in nature, especially while fishing and hunting, passions that reflected his patience, strength, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
He will be remembered for his quiet dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the love he carried for those closest to him. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.
Donations in Celestino’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
A visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes, located at 1141 St Clair Ave West, Toronto, ON, M6E1B1, Canada, on January 18, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location on January 18, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Light refreshments to follow.
