She was survived by her son, Andrew, her best friend, Pete, her daughter-in-law, Rajwant, her pet cat, Gitmo, and many more people who loved her.
She was born in Burnaby, BC on August 23, 1964 to her mother, Shirley and her father, Howard. Charlene graduated from Sir Charles Tupper Secondary School in 1982.
Charlene was a woman of many talents, working as an event coordinator at LiUNA 506, a school bus driver, a meat manager at several stores such as City Farms, Meat on the Beach, and The Chopping Block. After her late husband unexpectedly passed away in 1998, she made it her mission to support and protect her son Andrew. When she had free time she loved getting out of the house and having a great time with her friends. She loved her coffee in the morning, eating fruits and drinking juice, never missing an episode of Y&R, listening to rock n’ roll, driving cars, taking care of animals, and she was always there for people when they needed help. She will be sorely missed.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2pm, September 30th 2025 at Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home.
