After a courageous battle with Lewey Body Disease, Claude passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on Sunday December 14, 2014, in his 73rd year. Claude will be sorrowfully missed and fondly remembered by his beloved spouse and partner of 43 years, Richard Labelle. Predeceased by his parents Yvette Winters (Marois) and Cajetan Audette and infant brother Roger. Survived by his sisters Rachel Gordon (Donald) and Louise Maletta (Maurice) and step brother Joseph Winters (Trudy). Claude will be missed by his extended family, former colleagues at Toronto City Hall and his many friends in the LGBT community. Friends are invited to visit at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St. (south of Wellesley St.), on Thursday December 18th from 2-4 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow in the Coach House Chapel of the funeral home at 4 p.m. Cremation to follow.
