Claudia Mauren Ewan-Riley

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Claudia Maureen Ewan-Riley who passed away on June 13th, 2024, at the age of 63. She was born in Mount Zion, Parish of St. Ann's in the beautiful country of Jamaica. Claudia migrated to Canada at the young age of 15 on May 4th, 1975. She is survived by her beautiful daughter, sisters, auntie, nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-laws, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and a host of family and friends.

After attending high school and studying nursing at college, Claudia pursued a successful career in Nursing. She was truly devoted to her vocation, spending over three decades in the field, and was loved by all the lives she touched, especially her patients who loved and adored her immensely.

Claudia was an avid reader and music lover who also loved to play bingo, a favourite pastime of hers. As a young girl/woman, she would read several Harlequin Romance novels and endless Steven King novels in a week among many other genres. Another love dear to her heart was gardening. Every summer she would make her sister Sharon and brother-in-law Desmond's home in Caledon stunning. The attention to detail and colour was a sight to see.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel on 467 Sherbourne St. This will be followed by Interment at St. James Cemetery on 635 Parliament St.
