

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Craig Vincent “Alfie” McLean on August 6, 2024, just one day shy of his 73rd birthday at his home. Alfie has been reunited with his beloved parents Margaret McLean (Nee Reardon) and Louis Harold McLean as well as his loving brothers Gary McLean, Paul McLean and Billy McLean.
Alfie is survived his loving son Jason McLean, his daughter Sonia Daigle and their mother Margaret McLean. His brothers Kelly McLean, Louis McLean, Lorrie McLean, Johnny McLean, Ricky McLean and Michael McLean. Caring Nephew of Aunt Jean.
Lifelong friends to Colleen and Faye. Adored Papa to Everlee and Willow. Alfie will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Alfie lived a life defined by his unwavering dedication to hard work. For many years, he poured his heart and soul into his profession, earning the respect and admiration of everyone around him. His work ethic was matched only by his passion for life’s simpler pleasures.
Among his many joys, Alfie found immense satisfaction in a good game of cribbage, where his sharp mind and strategic sense were always on display. His love for the Toronto Maple Leafs was legendary, and he followed their games with passion that mirrored his enthusiasm for life. Whether celebrating a victory or lamenting a defeat, his loyalty to the team was a testament to his passionate spirit.
His legacy will live on in the memories of the countless games of cribbage played, the Leafs games watched with friends and family, and the many lives he touched through his hard work and dedication.
A visitation will take place on Thursday August 15, 2024 from 1PM to 3PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home 2570 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M4C 1L3 416-698-3121.
