Cuong-Kiet “Kenny” Ly passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 69, at Toronto Western Hospital. Born in Cai Lay, Vietnam, Kenny approached life with curiosity and a sincere interest in learning from the people and places he encountered.
A well-travelled individual, Kenny spoke several languages and held a deep appreciation for different cultures and cuisines. He enjoyed helicopters and airplanes and took a genuine interest in learning about the lives, backgrounds, and traditions of others. His attentiveness and curiosity fostered meaningful connections and fond memories for those who shared time with him.
A Graveside Service will be held at Westminister Cemetery, Mausoleum & Cremation Centre, 5830 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON, M2R 1Y6, CA, on April 2, 2026, from 11:00am to 12:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scott Mission.
