I went to the Haileybury School of Mines with Dan in 1982 - 1984. I also worked with Dan at Ontario hydro (Darlington)in 1985 and 1986.I just found out that Dan has passed away and I am truly sorry and offer my condolences.

I worked with Dan in Timmins. He was a smart guy. After work we had some fun times, Thanks for the good memories Dan. My condolences to his family.

I worked with Dan in Niagara Falls and New Liskeard.  He was a true leader.  An extremely hard worker and very inspirational. I am better for having worked with him.  My condolences to his family.

I didn't know Dan in his years after Hydro.  I am sorry for that. He was a very smart guy who made his co-workers look good by working with him.  I remember when Dan was in Timmins (1987) and he asked the Hydro to not send him to Thessalon, next week Hello Algoma. (I was sent to Timmins from Dymond) I worked with Dan in Niagara Falls at Sir Adam Beck 2 generating Station in 1988-89.  We had a good time teaching Southern Operators Northern tricks.  After Beck, Danny moved from Dymond to North Bay to Toronto to Liskeard.  Somewhere we lost touch and for that I am sorry.  For a life well lived salut.  For a life terribly shortened I hope he is fondly remembered.

Dan is a very important person in our lives. 

To some he was a friend you shared a good laugh with, someone you created good memories to recall on. 

To others, it was probably the pleasant smile or act of kindness he passed on. 

As for myself he was my uncle Dan. He's one of many people that made a great impact in my life.

 When he joined the family he became an amazing husband to my aunt Heather and a fantastic father to my cousin Lindsay. 


For many years he provided happiness and comfort to Heather, Lindsay and the rest of the family. 

I will never forget A one of a kind man like Dan and I thank him for all he has done for me and my family. 


You will always be remembered and be missed greatly amongst your friends and family Dan.

My thoughts are with you and your family, I'm sorry to hear of Dan's passing. May he rest in peace knowing that he had a family who loved him.

Rory & I are so very sad to learn of Dan's passing.  He was Danny in Public School when I taught him and I remember him as such a wonderful young boy.  So eager to learn; so wanting to please; such a happy young boy.  I know he has fought this battle with all of his strength and we must give thanks that his earthly suffering is no more.  He is in a much better place, sitting with his mom & dad, enjoying alone time with them.  God bless you and may you feel that peace of Christ's love.
