Professor Emeritus, McMaster University, founding editor of Eighteenth-Century Fiction, and Senior Research Associate, Trinity College, University of Toronto, died , aged 74, of pancreatic cancer at Kensington Hospice, Toronto on October 25, 2015.
He is survived by his lifetime partner, Arthur Sheps, sister Barbara and brothers William and Edwin.
Funeral Service will be held at Trinity College Chapel (6 Hoskin Ave, Toronto) on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.,
