At René Goupil House (Jesuit Infirmary) Pickering, Ontario on Friday, September 17, 2010 in the 77th year of his life and 56th year of religious life. Don was born on December 1st, 1933, son of Vincent Flynn and Elizabeth (Doyle) in Toronto, Ontario. After five years at St. Michael’s College School in Toronto, he entered the Society of Jesus, The Jesuits. He taught French language and literature mainly at Campion College in Regina from 1961 to 1964 and again 1970 through to 1995. He worked in Quebec City and Montreal. He will be missed by his family and his Jesuit companions.
Visitation at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St. (south of Wellesley) in Toronto on Monday, September 20, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and at St. Ignatius Chapel, Manresa: Jesuit Spiritual Renewal Centre, Liverpool Road North, Pickering, Ontario from 7-9 p.m. Wake service September 20, 2010 at 8 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Chapel, Manresa: Jesuit Spiritual Renewal Centre, Liverpool Road North, Pickering, Ontario on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11 o’clock.
