Donald Albert Stevenson

July 15, 1955 - August 2, 2017

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dear brother. Son of the late Albert and Madge (née Hallett). Beloved brother of Ann (late William), Betty (Artie) , Robert (Rose), and Nancy (Wayne). Brother-in-law of the later Ernest (Paddy) Wilcox. Devoted and loving Uncle of Shawn, Christopher (Ronni), Lori (Nicholas), Krista (Mike), Adam (Heather), Ryan (Ping), and Dylan. Great-uncle of Brayden, Nnico, Keira, Mason, And Annie Lan (Pumpkin) his ray of sunshine, who brightened up many days with her laughter, hugs and kisses. He will be dearly missed by his kind and loving aunt Ellen (late Stuart) Harper, uncle Edward and aunt Sharron Hallett, aunt Joan (late Tom) Hallett. Uncles and Aunts predeceased, Bruce and Roberta Hallett, Lois and Murray Archibald whom Don loved and spent many wonderful times with. His cousins who have warm, beautiful, and cherished happy memories of fun times spent.

Remembered for his sensitivity and generosity towards his many dear friends and legion comrades. He had a smile and kind word for everyone. Don's truly unique spirit will not be forgotten and will be missed by all.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers at St. Michael's Hospital. Their caring compassion and kindness was endless, especially all the Angels of the palliative care unit.
