I met Donna-Lynn at various East York events. Thank you Donna-Lynn for your passion and commitment to a community the so many of us love. Your presence will be missed.

Our prayers go out to you at this time. I have known Donna-Lynn for quite a few years. I met her throught Michael Prue. She was a great person and will be sadly missed but her work will live on through her pictures.

Words cannot express the deep and profound sadness that we are experiencing at the news of Donna-Lynn's passing. It is a complete shock and we cannot believe that she is gone. She was a great friend to us and a proud East Yorker. We will miss her terribly. Rest in peace.

Donna Lynn was more then a cousin she was like a little sister as we lived together when we were young.  She was good hearted  and I will miss her.

I also met Donna Lynn during the time the city was being amalgamated. A bunch of us were volunteering for Michael Prue, and she was too. Saw her not too long ago at an East York Historical Meeting where she was taking pictures. She had a really dry sense of humour which I liked, not to mention the work she did for East York. I met Donna Lynn through a mutual friend, Maureen Lindsay.  Although our paths crossed infrequently I will always remember her sense of humour, a strong commitment to all things East York and an  obligation to her political values.  You could count on truly amazing stories of swimming vacations spent somewhere in Florida!  Wherever your spirit journeys I am certain it will bring joy and laughter.  With fond memories.

I will certainly miss Donna-Lynn at all future East York events, with her ever present camera which she certainly knew how to use to make any subject look good - even me who could not keep my eyes open long enough for the flash of the camera. Donna-Lynn was certainly an East York Icon now called to higher glory and resting in perpetual peace. Her ever present smile, her good nature, and yes, her funny lines will be will be greatly missed by all in the East York family and community.

We first met on Team East York which formed to fight amalgamation. She loved East York and politics. Donna-Lynn sure told it like she saw it and usually with some humour thrown in. Speaking truth to power was one of her strengths. I will miss your spirit and your love for East York.

An amazing friend to so many in East York.  She cherished the memories of so many events.  We will miss East York's official photographer.

Donna-Lynn was neighbourly to all she met matter how far away from her they lived. She was a great evangelist for East York history and values. I can just imagine the panoramic vistas in her view right  now. Thanks for the cheerful memories Donna! And for your irreplaceable sense of humour!

She was an important reminder of the importance of Community. The proudest East Yorker.

Whenever I think of East York, Donna-Lynn always pops in to my mind.  She loved East York, we loved her.  I will miss her smiling face and beautiful pictures.
