Born August 22nd, 1911 in Maidstone, County of Kent, England passed away Friday, July 19th one month shy of her 102nd birthday. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Allan Dennis (Joyce) and Karen Harvey (Brian), her great-grandchildren Brett, Tyler, Jessica, Sarah and Alex, and their extended families and friends. We will fondly remember nana's knowledge and opinions on current events. Shortly before she passed she asked, "has Kate had the baby yet?" She enjoyed reading and her skill at knitting resulted in several 1st place ribbons from the Markham Fair. Nana's green thumb was ever present in all of her homes. A special thanks to the Boxgrove care team at Unionvilla. A private interment and memorial will be held at a later date. If you wish to make a donation in her name, Nana would have suggested the Canadian Breast Cancer or Heart and Stroke Foundations. Her inner strength is an inspiration to all who knew her.
