Passed away peacefully at her residence, on Friday December 3, 2010, in her 105th year. Dorothy, beloved wife of the late Peter Lloyd McKay. Dear sister of the late Audrey. Emerson, Florence, Gweneth and Georgina Bateman. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as many grand nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Rev. Charlotte Stuart of the Presbyterian Church as well as Jocelyn Abit, who both accompanied Dorothy on a regular basis for the past several years.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday December 10, 2010 at 11:00 am at the King City Cemetery, (2580 King Road, East of Jane St.) If desired, in memoriam donations may be made to the Odette Cancer Centre, C/O Sunnybrook Health Science Centre (1-866-696-2008).
