Elisa "Babe" C. Palange Ponesse

Passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Leisure World in Richmond Hill, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late John Ponesse. Loving mother of David (Gail) Stephen (Sylvia), Richard (Kathy) and Judy (Bob Fleischacker). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Julie, John, Jonathan, Matthew, Gregory, Christopher, Tiffannie, Tanya, Ryan, Robbie, Melissa and Blake, their spouses as well as her 15 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters in law Maggie and June Palange. Predeceased by her brothers Louie, Joe, Raymond and her sister Dolly, her daughter in law Kay (Stephen) and her granddaughter Katie. Elisa’s family gratefully acknowledge the devoted care, compassion and kindness shown to her by Blanda MacAraeg for the latter years of her life. Friends may call at the TRULL “NORTH TORONTO” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2704 Yonge St. (5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.) on Thursday from 5-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH (Yonge St. south of Lawrence Ave.) at 1:00 o’clock. Interment to follow at Mt Hope Cemetery.
