I am so sorry to hear that Eriks has passed. I had lost touch with both he and Zenta these last 25 years, but have thought of them both many times.  They were a unique couple, each with a special eye for life.  I am sorry I did not get to know you Sandra but I know the influence of your father will run through your veins forever.  So sorry!

I will always remember the great conversations with your father, and the wonderful bar-b-cues in your family garden.  My brother and I are very sorry for your loss.

I will always remember my uncle Eriks for his wonderful sense of humour. He was always chuckling about something and that is a great gift to have. And oh yes boy did he know how to cook up some great Bbq's! I sure will miss him.

I never really new Eriks other than the Architect who rented a room in our office, exchanging brief greetings with him every once in a while. Today I heard he passed away and that shocked and saddened me. Maybe I never exchanged much words with him, but I could strongly sense he was a good man. Unfortunately we don't appreciate the value of things until we lose them. To some degree, Eriks reminds of my father who was a civil engineer and worked with maps and loved to travel. My father passed away so I know how it feels to lose someone special. Rest in peace Eriks, and all my condolences to his daughter and family.

We will remember your father's astute observations of people, which were always made with kindness an a real concern for the welfare of those around him. His warm laugh will echo in the hearts of those who knew him.

Ever since we met on a plane to Vegas I've known Eriks as a friendly, intelligent, funny man whose first priority was his family and the next enjoying what life has to offer.  He had good values, could cook up a storm and was patient when gardening and dealing with people. Needless to say he was a professional of the highest calibre.  I will miss him and am very sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry to hear about Eriks' passing. It was a privilege to have him in the office next to me and I shall always hold our conversations in fond memory. In this age where a lot of things are done on the computer Eriks had always dedicated to made drawings by hand and I it is this spirit that moved me the most. A terrible loss, but may the tree stay green in his place.

Eriks was a very creative man in many ways and I will remember him for that creative spirit, his love of life and his family and his zest for travel and new experiences. From our family to yours many blessings, love and light. RIP Eriks!

I am devastated by the loss of my father.  He was the best dad. I will miss him dearly and his ability to solve any problem and fix anything. I will miss our talks, his great cooking, our jaunts to Las Vegas.  With some assistance, I will try to continue the Bebris barbecues and to carry out some of his visions that he had to enhance our garden.
