Estrellita Castaloni Ortiz

Born on July 14, 1963, in Rizal, Philippines, Estrellita dedicated her life to the love of numbers as an accountant. She graduated from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and later pursued and completed her Masters of Business Administration at University of Sto. Thomas.

Estrellita dedicated over 30 years to the accounting profession, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and efficiency in every financial record she handled. Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence earned her the trust and respect of colleagues and clients alike. Beyond numbers, she was a mentor and guide, always willing to share her knowledge and expertise with those around her.

Estrellita is survived by her sister, Erlyn Leong, her husband, Israel Ortiz, as well as her 3 children, Irisse Logan, Irene Ortiz, and Izzy Ortiz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rodolfo and Marie Castaloni, as well as her siblings Elsie Durusan and Edwin Castaloni.

Estrellita's legacy of kindness, dedication to family, and passion to church ministry will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Estrellita will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
