It is was great sadness we announce the passing of Eva Alice Laing(nee Stone) on February 4th, 2022 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her son Jack, parents Walter and Agnes Stone (nee Neary) and sisters Margaret and Judy.
Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories is her brother Roderick and her daughter Kim(Craig) and son Michael; her loving granddaughters Ashlyn, Sarah, Avery and Emerson; brothers, Herbert, Don, Raymond and Harvey; sisters, Effie and Nellie.
Eva will be remembered for her sense of humour(rhymes and riddles),generosity and kindness that was felt by all who knew her. Family was more important than anything. She loved spending time in the kitchen making delicious meals for her family.
As per her wishes, cremation has already taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers a donation can be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
