Died peacefully at Loretto Infirmary, Toronto, Ontario on May 25, 2015 . She was in the 96th year of her life and her 76th year as a member of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Loretto Sisters). Predeceased by her parents Valentine Kambeitz and Kunegunde Leier; brothers Leo, Anthony, Valentine, Clement; sisters Sr. Hilda IBVM, Louise Schell, Margaret Kambeitz, Sr. Rose IBVM; sister-in-law Kay Kambeitz; brothers-in-law Jake Schell and Michael Gombita. Survived by brothers Anselm (Ann), Pius (Gladys); sister Martha Gombita; sisters-in-law Johanna and Dawn Kambeitz; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Sister Georgina taught for 42 years in Toronto, Regina, Weyburn and Saskatoon. Subsequently for 18 years she volunteered in the Regina and Weyburn areas. Friends may call at Loretto Abbey, 101 Mason Blvd. on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 1.30-2.30 and 7:00-8.30 pm. Prayers will be at 7:30 pm on the same day. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Loretto Abbey Chapel on Saturday May 30, 2015 at 10:00 am, followed by Interment at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery.
