I am sorry to hear of your loss. I have many great memories of your dad and mom as well as all of you from our Lavinia Ave. days. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

John and I were saddened to read about your beloved father's death in the Star recently.  Your Dad and my husband worked together in the late 50s and early 60s.  We remember your Mom and Dad well and how proud they were of their growing family.  We remember the fun times we had bowling with the police league and if memory serves me correctly, believe we bowled at Dufferin and Eglinton or perhaps St. Clair.  Both of your parents were such nice people to know.  It is never the right time to lose a parent and you will feel the huge void in your lives forever.  Know that he is now at rest and that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.  May a Choir of Angels escort him on his way to Heaven.

Gerry was a big guy, with a bigger heart.  At 21 Div., he was a good 'bump' player , but a better fund raiser with the Assoc. and Al Balding golf.  The community will miss him.  R.I.P.

Gerry Master was a second father to me. He always had a bit of good advice and smile to go along with it.  As teenagers the party was always at the Master's house. The door was always open. However, you did have to climb over the empty pizza boxes to get in. He was a patient man who understood the value of family and friends and made them a priority. You will be missed Gerry.

I was a young police officer when I met Gerry at 21 Division of the Metropolian Toronto police Force.
He was a big man with a big heart.
He was a no nonsense police officer.
He had a big laugh and a good sense of humor.
He served the community of Lakesore Blvd W Etobicoke well.

My deepest condolences go out to Gerry's family and friends.  I served with Gerry on the Metropolitan Toronto Police Force, out of the old and new #21 Division. A very large and impressive presence when seen in his uniform. He was also a force to be reckoned with during our lunch hour 'Bump' games.
