Mr. Godfrey Fitzroy Jones

Godfrey Fitzroy Jones was born on February 21, 1941 in Barbados and passed away on July 27, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 82 years.

He is the loving son of Samuel Lawrence Lindo and Gwendolyn Jones.

Godfrey will be dearly missed by his wife and lifelong friend of over 50+ years, Idine Jones.

He leaves behind his children Wendy Husbands, Kirk Jones-Patrick, and Dave Grant.

Cherished grandfather of Dana Lynch, Charice Husbands, Tiesha Jones-Patrick, Kyrel Jones-Patrick, and Kyra Grant. Great Grandfather to Chloe Husbands.

Godfrey leaves behind his siblings, Angela Smith (Montreal), Basil Lynch (Toronto), Delvin Jones of England, Mark Lynch, Sandie Worrell, Michael Connell (all of Barbados). Loving brother to the late Edlyn King and Coral Jones.

He has been reunited with his dear friend, Sherlock Downes.

He will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 9:00am-11:00am

PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend the visitation or the funeral service, however, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please do so.

The Funeral Ceremony will be directly after the visitation on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 11:00am.

Burial to follow at Beechwood Cemetery, 7241 Jane St.
