A lifelong learner, Godwin Kester-Akrofi devoted over two decades to Magna Co-Ex-Tec, where he took pride in building innovative prototype vehicles and exploring his passion for plastics engineering. A man of many talents and boundless ambition, he also pursued entrepreneurship managing a successful real estate portfolio in Ghana and co-founding several ventures in Toronto, including a pawn shop and a pest control company.
Before immigrating to Canada, Godwin served his country and the international community with distinction, holding positions with Ghana’s Military Police, Interpol, and the United Nations.
He will be fondly remembered by his beloved family, friends, children, and grandchildren for his vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, captivating stories, and uplifting words of wisdom. His legacy of resilience, curiosity, and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A private service was held on October 31, 2025, and Godwin was laid to rest by beloved family and friends in Toronto.
