

H. BRIAN CALDWELL Harry Brian Caldwell was born July 18, 1921 in Manchester, England, and passed away peacefully on October 14, 2021. Brian will be lovingly remembered by his son Clive, and his wife Lorna, his daughter Lindsay, and her husband Eric, his five grandchildren, Dylan (Betty), Devin (Amy), Ashley (Brian), Kailey (Nathalie) and Adam (Sarah), and his great-grandchildren, Taven, Nash, Brooklyn, Emily, Wells, and Harrison. Since her passing, he deeply missed his wonderful and loving wife Priscilla, who predeceased him in 2008. Also left to remember him fondly are his sisters-in-law Dorothy (brother Derick, deceased), and Doreen, and his many nieces and nephews including Sue (Derek), Sally (Peter), Brenda (Paul), Judith, Barry (Ann) and Ian (Marcia), and their many children, and others he held dear both in Canada and England. Brian was educated at Manchester Grammar School, and served as a navigator in the Royal Air Force during WW II, and also as a navigation instructor at Port Albert, Ontario. His love for Canada led him to emigrate in 1946, where he worked as a Mechanical Engineer until his retirement in 1986. Brian was a lifelong member of both the Craigleith Ski Club, and of the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club, and was an avid skier, squash, and tennis player. He will be remembered for his energy, his humour, and his friendly outgoing personality. At Brian's request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation will take place at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home. Family and friends will be invited to the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club at 141 Wilson Ave, Toronto on Wednesday, October 27th from 4-7 p.m.
