On Sunday, November 30th, 2014 Helga Anna Haas, daughter of Theodor and Anna Basler suddenly passed at the age of 80 in her home in Toronto. Beloved wife of the late George Haas and loving mother to Michael Haas (Stephanie) and Christina Predinchuk (Peter), cherished Oma to her grandchildren Ian, Benjamin and Mariella. Her happy, positive, carefree nature will be sorely missed as her journey has come to an end. That journey began in the rolling hills of wine country in south western Germany and continued through Kansas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Hawaii, Sault Ste Marie and finally Toronto. She brought joy and laughter to our lives and her family was her greatest joy.
Her family and close friends will be having a private gathering to celebrate her life this Friday and her cremated remains will join her husband in Greenwood cemetary in Sault Ste Marie next week.
