In his 90th year, Herbert passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Markham Stouffville Hospital. Herbert is happily re-united with the love of his life, Gilberte. Herbert is the loving father of Jack (‘John’) (Theresa), the beloved Granddad of Jean-Paul (Rachel) and Jesse (Daniella), and the loving Great-Granddad of Cash. Herbert is pre-deceased by his parents Margaret and Wilfrid Boucher, his brothers Lloyd, Godfrey, Eli, and his sister, Ivy and is survived by his sister Bessie (predeceased by Guy), his brother, Howard (Verna), and his sisters-in-law Iona and Ethel. Friends and relatives are invited to the GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Ave., Toronto, (at Main St. subway), 416-698-3121 on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. , followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Markhaven Retirement Home whose workers have taken care of Dad so wonderfully over the past 5 years, and to the nurses and doctors at Markham Stouffville Hospital who have made sure that Dad was comfortable and at peace during his last few weeks.
