John, thank you for your friendship, your support, your smile and laughter. You were there when I needed you without question or hesitation. I am very lucky and grateful you were in my life. You are and will be missed.

John was a favourite cousin of mine. A gentle, kind, loving person and also lots of fun. Our lives took very different paths so we didn't see a lot of each other over the years and I am grateful that I did get to visit with him the night before he left us. Thanks for the memories, the laughs and the love - dearest John, you will most certainly be missed.

John was a good-natured friend and fellow gardener here in Willowdale. For a number of years he rented a rototiller each spring. John would check with us and haul his machine around the neighbourhood. For those of us dealing with North York clay, this was a real gift. His lovely smile is well remembered.
John is a blessing to his family and the wider community.
