I did not get to see Aunt Teddy often, but her kindness always stood out when we met.  That is what I will remember as she lives on in our memories.

There aren't many things I remember from when I was very young, but Aunt Teddy's laugh still rings clearly.  There was a melody in it.  As I grew and all the world changed, her music always stayed the same.  Aunt Teddy's song may have ended, but I can still hear the tune.

I had not seen Aunt Teddy recently, but I have very strong memories of her from my childhood, sixty years ago, as the beautiful, young wife of my mother's (Edith Rogers Duffell) youngest brother, Walt. With her passing, the last of my mother's generation is gone. We both shared a love for our pet cats and dogs. Happy journeys in your new life. Love,

I knew her as "Joyce" and I was fortunate for having known her.

I will always remember Aunt Teddy with fondness, especially in relation to the times we spent at her trailer, as well as the many times she validated for me how poorly I was being treated at home. 

She was a unique and special lady, and made a difference to my life in helping me to understand it was not about me and that I deserved better. 

Love you Aunt Teddy and wish you all the best in your adventures and discoveries about whatever happens to us after this lifetime. Thank you for being there for me in the ways you were able to.
