Karen passed away unexpectedly at the age of 56 in Newmarket. Loving Wife of David. Beloved Mother of Amanda (Ryan); Danielle; Stephanie; Andre; Brianne (Jayson); Candice (Matthew) and Deanna. Cherished Sister of Joanne, Dale and Vernon (predeceased). Proud Grandmother of 7 and one on the way. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Friends and relatives are invited to the visitation at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 2570 Danforth AVe., Toronto, (at Main St. subway station) 416 698 3121, on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Giffen-Mack Chapel on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.

THE BROKEN CHAIN

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,

In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone,

For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories; your love is still our guide,
