

Kathleen Marie Molnar was born on May 22,1960 in Brantford, Ontario. A descendent of a Hungarian father, who escaped to Canada from the Soviet invasion of Hungary in 1957, and a Canadian born Czechoslovakian mother.
When she was 13 years old, her family moved to live in Dunnville, Ontario. Kathleen studied at the University of Waterloo under the Chemistry Co-Op program within the Science Faculty in 1979. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1983.
After graduation, Kathleen was hired as a MSDS Compliant Specialist at ConChem Division of CCL Industries Inc.
In 1989, she joined Dow Corning Canada Inc. as a Health and Safety Compliant Coordinator.
In 1993, Kathleen was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. By 1995, Kathleen required a wheelchair for her mobility. She was able to work until August, 2000 when she started receiving her Long-Term Disability benefit.
In 2002, she became a quadriplegic and required 100% physical support. At the sametime, she joined the Centre for Independent Living in Toronto ( CILT). Through their funding, Kathleen was able to get the support she needed for her daily needs.
On April 09, 2026, Kathleen passed away peacefully.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Church, 746 Pape Ave, Toronto, Ontario, M4K 3S7, on April 18, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a reception to follow.
