It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Kathleen Elizabeth Suzanne Paine born in Toronto on December 27, 1948. Daughter of the late Marion and George Kinley. Predeceased by her sisters Doreen Ryback and Patricia Kinley. Suzanne was an amazing wife to John Paine, loving mother to Gizelle Paine (George Le Blanc) and devoted Nana to Autumn and Leah Le Blanc and aunt to her many nieces and nephew.
Suzanne passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024 with her husband by her side. She had fought a long hard battle with Alzheimer’s for over 5 years. Her absence leaves an aching void in our hearts, but her spirit lives on in the cherished memories we hold dear.
Suzanne enjoyed her schooling and careers over the years such as hairdressing, the public service union and Creed’s Fashion until she married and became a housewife for her remaining years. Suzanne was a big fan of the arts, enjoyed singing and dancing, spending time with her family and friends and her time at the family farm.
Suzanne was a woman of unyielding kindness, her generous and infectious spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. Above all, she loved her family. She crafted a life with those she loved through shared dreams, mutual respect, and an unwavering support that stood as a testament to her character. Suzanne will be missed greatly by all that knew her.
A memorial service and reception for Kathleen will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5.
