KENDEL, Kim Thomas Rudolf
Passed away suddenly April 4, 20013 in Toronto, Ontario after a lifelong struggle with epilepsy and other physical challenges. He was born in Sudbury to loving parents, Eva and Rudy Kendel. He lived in Smiths Falls in Rideau Regional Centre for most of his adult life. He moved to Montage Group home in Toronto in 2008 where he had an active life and was loved by the care providers. Loving brother to Marguerite, Carmen, Susan, Michael, Monica and Jackie. He was a lover of music, from Don Messer’s Jubilee to Mozart. He loved the outdoors, going for rides and visiting with people. He particularly enjoyed the hustle and bustle of busy places. He showed great joy in visits with his family members. Kim flourished in his last years at Montage group home. Although challenged with many physical afflictions, Kim was an excellent communicator. You were never unsure of his feelings. The twinkle in his eye and his smile will be missed by all. A funeral mass will be held for Kim at 9:30 am Wednesday, April 10th at The Epiphany of Our Lord, 3200 Pharmacy Avenue, Scarborough. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Epilepsy Association of Canada in Kim’s honour. Arrangements entrusted to the Giffen-Mack Danforth Funeral Home.
