We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Linda, on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Predeceased by her loving father Ted Bentley. Adoring stepdaughter to Alice Bentley. Loving sister to Teddy and Robin. Loving mother to Mike (Tish), Devin (Erin) and Justin. Nanny to Kirsten, Madeline, Emily and Eden. Cherished aunt and loving friend to many. She was employed for many years with the Ministry of Natural Resources in Toronto, later moving to the Peterborough area where she was employed in the accounting field. Linda made a decision to move back to the city to be closer to her family. She was an avid gardener, loved her Tai Chi and yoga, and was always on the lookout for the latest herbal tea. Linda was a voracious reader and will always be remembered for her free spirit and beauty.
A memorial visitation will be held for Peter Scott and friends on Wednesday, June 10th from 6-9 p.m. Friends are invited to a memorial service on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Coach House Chapel at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home – 467 Sherbourne St. Toronto.
In lieu of flowers, donations to CAMH Center for Addictions and Mental Health would be greatly appreciated.
