Mrs. Lorraine Ethel Kubik Campbell

Lorraine passed from us peacefully on March 23, 2013, under the kind care of the wonderful team at Sunnybrook Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit. Lorraine is loved and missed by her son Ross and his wife Sarena, and all her “kids” - Olivia & Rowan, Ryan, Patty, Kevin & Mirabel, Julie, John, Matty, Lorraine and Emily, and joins her son Blair in heaven. As her loving friend June said “Once in a while we have the privilege of meeting extra ordinary people who become an important part of our lives for the particular joy that they bring to us that is uniquely theirs. Lorraine was one of those people”

Born in Dearborn Michigan, Lorraine’s adventuresome spirit took her to New York where she toured with a variety of Broadway shows that brought her to Montreal where she married and raised her two sons. She moved to Toronto in 1980 and started her new career as a fashion consultant where she developed a loyal and loving clientele who became close friends for life.

Her zest for life always drove her to find new adventures including a late passion for golf and launching her book club with some of Toronto’s most special ladies, who she adored and who adored her.
