Marilyn Anne Parson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marilyn Anne Parson, a beloved mother, partner, sister, and friend, who left us peacefully on January 5, 2025, at the age of 68. Marilyn was born in New Brunswick on August 29, 1956, and lived a full life surrounded by love, laughter, and music. She is predeceased by her loving mother Ida.

Marilyn is survived by her four devoted daughters: Dora (her partner Tommy) April, Sarah, Jessica, and her cherished grandchildren: Corey, Austin, Brandon, and Dallas. She also leaves behind her siblings: Earl and Raymond as well as her stepsibling Marcel. Marilyn was especially close to her nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Music was one of Marilyn's greatest joys in life, and she could often be found listening to her favorite artists, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, as she sang along with a smile on her face. Marilyn absolutely loved attending Argos games as well. She would be cheering them on from the stands. Her warmth, humor, and zest for life will be missed by all who knew her.

A public viewing and service will be held to celebrate Marilyn’s life, where her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A visitation for Marilyn will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne Street, Toronto, ON M4X1K5, followed by a funeral service from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM.
