Mrs. Martha Colvin Harris

Passed away on March 21, 2013 at the age of 87 years. She lived a long and active life, selflessly helping others wherever she was needed. She took great joy in her family and always enjoyed visiting them as often as she could. The highlight of the past year was her trip to Saskatchewan for her granddaughter's wedding. Martha was predeceased by her husband Douglas Vere Starr Harris, her parents Kathleen and Gordon Colvin, and her brother Robert Colvin. She leaves to celebrate her memory her daughters Susan (David) Fox and Marylou (Robert) Hamilton, her grandchildren Andrew (Joan) Hamilton, Gordon (Karla) Hamilton, and Kathleen (Travis) Fuller, great-grandchildren Sophia, William, Olivia, and Annamaria, and many extended family members. The family would like to thank Tessa and her family who , for the last four years, have assisted Mom to remain living in her own home. A Memorial Service to celebrate Martha's life will take place at the Church of St. Timothy, 100 Old Orchard Grove, at Ridley Blvd., Toronto, ON, M5M 2E2, on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Youthlink, 747 Warden Ave. , Scarborough, ON, M1L 4A8, or the Church of St. Timothy would be appreciated.
