Michael was surrounded by his loving family, mother Cathleen, wife Alicia, and his 3 angels, Alexander(22), Nevaeh(15), and Casey(10). Also present were his aunts, Theresa & Joanne, uncle Cameron, as well as cousins and close friends.
He will be missed by his extended family, both here in Canada and Scotland, and by his beloved dog Max, who continues to wander the house in search of him.
He was preceded in death by his loving father, Michael Sr.
As a family, we are deeply indebted to the dedicated doctors and nurses of the cardio-vascular intensive care unit at Hamilton General Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that friends and loved ones consider making a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in his memory.

A visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes on May 9, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. With the Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 pm.
