November 3, 1940 – June 28, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Joseph, who left us peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Michael was born in Georgetown, Guyana, on November 3, 1940. He was the beloved son of the late George and Agnes Joseph.
Michael was the rock and foundation of his family. A devoted husband to Dorothy (Kuntie) Joseph, a loving father to Thomas Joseph, and a proud father-in-law to Kendall Beatty. He was a cherished grandfather to Kayla and Kadence, and a treasured great-grandfather to Canon and Linkoln. The bond he shared with his siblings Francina Seawar, Peter Joseph, Jean - Anne Yong - Ping and Marjorie Joseph was unbreakable.
Michael’s strong personality, generous spirit, and deep, welcoming smile drew people to him. His love for his family was boundless and unwavering.
He found great joy in life’s simple pleasures — spending time at the racetrack, and sharing coffee and conversation at Tim Hortons with his wife and friends. Michael was also deeply committed to his work, earning the respect of many through his dedication and the positive impact he had on those around him. He worked tirelessly not only for his own success but to uplift and support others.
We are grateful for the time we had with Michael, especially in his final days, sharing stories, laughter, and reflecting on the memories that meant the most. In those moments, he shared how he wished to be remembered — not with sadness, but with a celebration of life. A gathering filled with fun stories, joyful pictures, and lots of laughter.
The family would like to express sincere thanks for your prayers, love, and kind gestures during this difficult time. Michael’s life was a blessing to all who knew him, and his memory will be carried in our hearts forever.
