Mr. Michael John Simonetta

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Violet Simonetta (nee Sorbara). Lovingly remembered by his children JoAnne (Roger), Michelle (Mike), Francine, Frankie (late Andrea Lucas), Paula (late Craig Carmichael) and Andrea (Glen). Nonno Michael to Christopher (Cathy), Joel (Nadia), Daniel, Spencer and Sydney. Great-Nonno Michael to Noah, Taylor, Nathan and Charlotte. Predeceased by his five older sisters. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by his companion Mary Oxley and her sons Ron and Chuck and their children. He was the face of Century Builders Hardware and an original member of The Bayview Golf & Country Club where he developed lifelong friendships. Friends may call at the TRULL “NORTH TORONTO” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2704 Yonge St. (5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.), on Sunday, May 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in the BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH (Yonge St., south of Lawrence Ave.), on Monday, May 4th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Temmy Latner Centre or the charity of your choice.
