Millicent came to Canada and lived in Toronto for a time then moved to Brampton where she purchased her first home. She was a dedicated and hardworking single mother, who prayed diligently for her children. She was a strong woman of faith and courage right to the end. No matter the circumstances or hardships she endured, she always had a smile on her face and when asked how she was doing, her response was always “I give God thanks, I can’t complain.” She loved her grandchildren and doted on them and they loved her.
She is survived by her children Freda Lois Vassel and her brother David YogoVassel as well as her grandchildren Davion, Davell, Dayvious and Elissa.
Her physical presence will be sadly missed but we rejoice with her that she is in the sweet presence of the Lord and at peace.
A visitation for Millicent will be held Monday, June 23, 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3, followed by a funeral service from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
