Tragically Mitch chose to leave our lives Monday. His quirky ways and off jokes will be missed. He tried to help everyone and to be a force for change.
My would be politician and tree hugger lost his battle with depression and mental illness. As he joins Gramma Hartwell and Nanny he is survived by his Mother Corrie Toye, Granddad Murvyn Toye and wife Santa, Aunt Rhonda Toye, Uncle Justin Hillier, Aunt Crista Fowler (Ali), Grandma Wendy Schouten and also survived by many great uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family and friends.
I welcome all who wish to join us at the funeral service held November 7th. Visitation will be 1 pm to 3pm with service 3pm to 4 pm at the Jerrett Funeral Home located on Kennedy Rd. South of Eglington Ave. There will be a reception following at The Markham Station Restaurant at Sheppard Ave. and Markham Rd.
