Patricia Bailey

Mother to Richard (Shari), Susan (Kenny) and Paul. Step Grandmother to Samantha and Jonathon. Grandmother to Kathleen. Survived by her caring and loving husband Rodney Charles Bailey. Patty passed away in the early hours on Friday, May 24, 2024 after a long battle with Dementia/Alzheimers. Her final moments were spent peacefully, close to family and in the arms of her daughter in the LTC portion of the St Clair O’Connor Community centre in Toronto.

Known for her strong willed determination love for all animals, her family, music, fun and friends, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The Bailey family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is also survived by her nieces Wendy and Ruth. Predeceased by her mother Mabel Olive & father Frederick and her three sisters Enid, Nora and Olive. Donations can be made to the Toronto Humane society in her name. A very special thank you and deep appreciation to all the people, workers and caregivers of the LTC and SCOC.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres, 375 Mt Pleasant Rd, Toronto, ON M4T 2V8.
