Patrick Basil Mulligan

November 25, 1914 - May 13, 2011

Peacefully at North York General Hospital on Friday May 13, 2011, in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Jane (Rankin). Loving father of Cathy (Jim) Matthews and Susan (John) Woodcock. Cherished Grandfather of Ian, Ron and Alison Matthews and Lisa and David Woodcock. Predeceased by his brother Redmond. He will also be missed by his extended family. A humble man, he touched all who with his generous and compassionate spirit. He truly was a "Christian Gentleman". His smiling face, optimisic outlook and sense of humour will be missed by all. Visitation will be held at the Trull "North Toronto" Funeral Home, 2704 Yonge St. (5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Church 670 Sheppard Ave East.,(east of Bayview Ave.) on Friday May 27, at 10 am., followed by a brief reception at the church. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Erskine Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
