Paul was very much at peace and surrounded by family when he left us.
He is survived by his father Frank Friesen and stepmom Peggy, sister Tammy Friesen (Ronnie), brother Blake Friesen (Debbie), nieces Kaitlyn (Jim), and Shannon, sister-in-law Patricia, nephews Blake Shane and Nathaniel, great-nieces Hailey and Grace and great-nephew Max. Paul is predeceased by his mother Pauline and his beloved Sydney.
Born in Oshawa, Paul spent his later years in Cabbagetown tending to the gardens of Diane Frankling Co-op where he resided. He will be missed by his co-op family and many friends.
A memorial service presided by pastor Norbert Lava will be held Wednesday March 5th @ 11am in the community room of Diane Frankling Co-op, 85 Bleecker St. Toronto. Parking available on Sherbourne St. just north of Carlton.
A big THANK YOU to the fabulous staff of Casey House in Toronto for the wonderful compassionate care they gave our Paul during his final days. Also much love and appreciation to Paul's "ANGEL"
